I love craft projects that make use of materials that are common to all households but are normally just thrown away. Aside from it’s free, it is a fun and creative way of sharing to our little ones the value of conservation of our environment.
This week’s craft is all about cans. Cans are materials that are fairly common and easy to recycle, repurpose, or upcycle. Here is one great idea I found from Instructables.com.

Here is a tutorial that shows you how to decorate cans to be used as organizers for pencils, pens, cooking utensils, and whatnot. It’s a very simple thing to do that would definitely be fun for the kiddos too.
