I stumbled upon this blog of Jessie and found lots of incredible messy art ideas for kids. Yep, you read that right — MESSY! We all like to get a little messy every now and then – especially kids! As Jessie cleverly puts it, ”what is 10-20 minutes of cleanup when your child is making memories to last a lifetime?!”

Sidewalk Paint
Crayola has some sidewalk paints available, though there are homemade recipes such as 1/4 cup cornstarch mixed with 1/4 cup of water and some food coloring.
Sponge Painting
Contained Body Painting
This can take place indoor or outdoor. Just have the kiddo sit in a plastic storage bin placed on top of a plastic picnic blanket. The only thing you’d have to do is to wash the blanket and the plastic tub out!
